Mary received her Doctorate in Education at Hamline University. 

She graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Master's Degree in Family Social Science and from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Mary currently is licenced as a Parent Educator, and Early Childhood & Kindergarten Teacher.
